Excellent product

I purchased this Thermos a few weeks ago to bring lunch to school. It is very pretty; the design looks even better on the actual product than in the picture. I was surprised when I received it at its size; it looked really small and seemed to be unable to hold enough for me to eat. But once I put food in it, I realized it actually held a lot. I do wish the mouth was a little bigger though. Most importantly, the food stayed hot for hours. I put in rice at 6:30am and it was still hot (not just warm) at 11:30am. I haven't yet seen any problems with washing the lid like other reviews have said.

easy clean

This is smaller than I thought it would be. Probably a better size for kids.I would also strongly suggest you warm the inside with boiling water first if you are keeping this for 4 hours prior to opening - otherwise contents are only luke warm. If you add boiling water then empty out and put hot contents in then it stays very warm.

happy with purchase

My daughter uses this for her lunches. She does not like food that is meant to be hot at room temperature. She has about 4.5 hours from the time her lunch is made until it is eaten. I can vouch that the food remains warm for this period. the container is very easy to clean and has only one seal that should be removed and washed. The paint of the exterior can scratch if handled roughly. this is not a concern for us.
