By Michael DEredita
I got this as a Christmas present, and it was purchased from Costco. My understanding is that this is the same as NS-WAC10. The only difference from what I could find is that that the NS-WPC10 is assembled in China in bulk for warehouse outlets like Costco, where the NS-WAC10 is assembled in Japan. So, if you want the NS-WAC10, but want to save money, the NS-WPC10 is essentially the same unit at a much cheaper price ($60-$70 less than the WPC10 depending where you get it).So, there was the background, but how does it perform? Beautifully!!! Making rice has never been easier. Open it up, measure out the amount of rice you want to make with the included measuring cup (I noticed that it makes 2+ cups much better than a single cup of rice). Quickly rinse the rice out, put in the rice cooker bowl, add water up to the line for the amount of rice you want to cook. Close the cooker, and press cook. It'll play a little chime to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and automatically start cooking the rice. It takes about 40-50 minutes to cook white rice. Once it is done, it will play a chime for the song Amaryllis. Done!! Fluff the rice up, and it's ready to go. It will go into Keep Warm mode, and you can put it into Extended Keep Warm, which will keep it warm for up to 12+ hours!!!Clean up is super simple. Take the rice cooking bowl out, wash it. Pop out the inner lid, wash it. Clean up takes about all of 2 minutes tops.I highly recommend this rice cooker. Rice is always perfect, never burnt, always delicious, and never been easier to make.

By Dark Helmet
This model is the warehouse store version of the NS-WAC10. I bought one from Costco about a year ago. It does a great job of cooking rice and steel cut oats. I've tried long grain white, basmati and pilaf made from wild rice, wheat berries and brown rice, and it always comes out perfect. No burned or crusty rice on the bottom of the bowl. You do have to be careful with steel cut oats, however. The starchy liquid on top of the cooking oats will boil and seep between the lid and metal plate. When you open the lid, it drains out the bottom. Best to wait a few minutes before opening the lid so the fluid drains back into the bowl. If you're attentive, you can keep it from boiling over by opening the lid and stirring when you start to hear popping sounds and smell the oatmeal. I've found the boiling starts at around 5 minutes left on the timer, but this might vary by altitude.Be sure to take the metal plate off and clean it and the lid after cooking.

By Dinah
I purchased this rice cooker and it is The Best i have ever had. It not only cooks the rice perfectly, it keeps the leftover rice warm and moist for up to 4-5 days. Also, it has special settings for sweet, brown, sushi and porridge rice and it plays a lovely musical chime when it starts cooking and when the rice is done. I purchased one for my son and one for my daughter and they also love theirs just as much. It's probably the nicest and will be the most used electrical item we will ever have.
