Let me tell you, I drink a lot of coffee in the morning, and a lot of tea in the evening -- and my Zojirushi keeps each hot for what seems like 775million hours longer than other products. Don't hesitate. Strap it on.

I bring my lunch to work every day and recently purchased the 6 3/4 ounce size mug to bring vegetable juice from home to have with my lunch. I was purchasing a bottle of V-8 juice, that cost $1.50 a day and had too much salt. Now, I can bring my low-sodium Trader Joe's Garden Patch juice from home. Less salt, less money (at $1.50 a day, I'll make back my $28 in less than 4 work weeks) and no plastic container to dispose of. The container is so tiny that it's not a problem to fit into my lunch bag and I think that having a container that's the right size (not too big) keeps the temperature better than if I tried to use a larger thermos.I leave the open, empty thermos in the refrigerator overnight to chill, then fill and cap in the morning. The juice stays pleasantly chilled until lunchtime 5 hours later. I'm thinking about purchasing a second, to keep a hot beverage for lunch, or to have a second cold drink for later in the afternoon. One thing to note: this size container does NOT have the "flip open" lid or the dimpled surface. It's a standard screw-on thermos lid and a smooth, stainless exterior. It has a lip of soft plastic around the top, so that it is comfortable to drink from, but you must remove the entire lid to drink. Not something I'd recommend for commuting, as you definitely run the risk of major spillage in the event of a short stop. I believe the flip-open lid is only on the larger sizes.
